My name is Lyla Petroske and I am a young painter residing on Long Island, New York. I work in primarily oil paint, soft pastel, and printing media, all of which I consider to be powerful agents in my journey of self-expression. Just as a coffee filter only allows the delicious nectar of the grinds to soak through to your mug, I observe the world and only translate to your eyes what I know to be true and beautiful.
